First of all thank you for visiting my website and for taking a look at my work. My work as you see exists in a variety of areas. Every direction I like in it's own way, looking for solitude in the landscape, the social aspect of portraitphotography and the 'hunt' during reportage work. I started with photography asking questions why everything was so very small when I took a picture with my camera, due to the lens my father explained. From that time I started to get more interested in photography which took me to the Academy of Arts in Breda (NL). I work as a freelance photographer ever since and I like to keep a balance of commissioned work and working on my own projects. In my work I am always driven by a curiosity and interest in my subject. With my eyes and mind open I like to step into new worlds and that can even be around the corner.
